TREMOLO CUT edits your videos on your phone. Your videos, songs and projects stay on your phone, and there is no account. Here is what the app uses, and the only thing that leaves your phone.

Effective

What stays on your phone

The videos you film or import, your songs, your projects and your finished clips are processed and saved on your phone. The app does not send them to any server, ours or anyone else's.

There is no account and no sign-up: we don't know your name, your email or your phone number.

[ 02 ]

Permissions

The app only asks for what it needs to work. Everything happens on your phone:

  • Camera and microphone: film your takes in the app.
  • Music: show the songs on your phone.
  • Videos and photos: import the videos you pick, then save your finished clips to your gallery.
  • Notifications: follow the progress of an export.

You can refuse or remove each one in your phone's settings. Only the matching feature stops working.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, a technical report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, so we can fix the problem. The report contains:

  • the phone model;
  • the system and app versions;
  • the place in the code where the error happened;
  • a random identifier specific to this installation.

It does not contain your videos, your songs, your file names or anything that says who you are.

Google processes these reports on our behalf, under Firebase's terms. We don't sell any data and we don't track you across apps.

[ 04 ]

When you share

The Share button opens your phone's share menu. Once your clip is sent to another app (Instagram, WhatsApp…), that app's policy applies.

The tremolocut.com website

The website uses no cookies and no advertising tools. It measures its own audience without keeping your IP address. For each visit, it keeps:

  • the page read and the site you came from;
  • the reading time and how far you scrolled;
  • the country, and whether you are on mobile.

If you leave your email to hear about the launch, it is used to tell you about the launch. It is stored at Cloudflare, our host. Write to us to have it deleted.

Like any web page, the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts and a few scripts from public servers. These services receive your IP address.

Age, questions, changes

The app is not intended for children under 13.

Uninstalling the app erases its data from the phone. The clips and takes saved in your gallery remain.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information, for any question or request: info@tremolocut.com.

If the app changes how it handles data (for example when the subscription arrives), we update this page, with the new date at the top.
